Just one month from now, Kismet will be out in mass market. You know the small,
pocketbook size paperbacks that sell for half the price of a trade paperback!
I'm hoping to gain a few new readers and I've got news coming down the pike,
including a new website. The header is AWESOME!
11.18.11 Stay
Tuned!
A
new website is in the making, so stay tuned for fun and excitement as I gear up
for Kismet's mass market debut in February!
I
just got the news that Assassin's Heart tied for first place in RWA's Fantasy,
Futuristic and Paranormal chapter's PRISM contest, Dark Paranormal category.
WOOT!!
Not only that!! Assassin's Heart brought home the
Best of the Best
spot. I'm
thrilled, humbled and ecstatic! I've only been a contest bride once before!! And
certainly NOT with two top spots at the same time with the same book! LOL
So if you've not read the book, and now you're
intrigued, click
here! *GRIN*
And a BIG congrats to fellow 1st place winner in the Dark Paranormal category
Dee Tenorio.
You can check out her winning book here!
06.27.11 Cover for
Inferno's Kiss
Here it is! The cover for Inferno's Kiss. I think it's yummy. I like that they
don't show too much of his chest, and I LOVE, LOVE the sword!! Not to mention
the strategic placement! Be sure to read the
first three
chapters...if you dare!

Me a DIK at AAR
I'm thrilled to announce that Pleasure Me has earned
Desert Island Keeper (DIK) status at AAR (All

are stellar reads, and they're not given out often. I'm delighted that Pleasure
Me pleased the reviewer enough to give it this special designation.

signing contracts for the foreign rights of Kismet, Mirage and Dangerous to
Thailand. So I'm thrilled to announce that my reach is spreading. Kismet will be
printed in Japan and Russia sometime in the next 24 months. I can't wait to see
the covers and see the story in the native language. Pretty cool!!

Me News
I'm thrilled to announce that Julianne MacLean, USA Today bestselling author was
kind enough to read Pleasure Me (in draft form no less) and had this to say
about the book.
“I
loved every passionate, captivating word of Pleasure Me. I have never
anticipated a love scene with such fervor before. This book will enchant you.”
—
Julianne MacLean, USA Today
Bestselling author
Julianne writes wonderful historical romance that I've thoroughly enjoyed since
the start of her career. Her descriptions are vivid and rich in detail. Getting
praise from one's peers is a terrific feeling, but to receive it from an author
I admire makes me treasure it even more. Thank you, Julianne!

writes with sensitivity and panache. Don't miss this one!”
—
Sabrina Jeffries, NYT bestselling author
“Burns' story is
hotter than the desert sands! She succeeds with a
classic captive/captor romance akin to a Johanna
Lindsey classic. Relax and enjoy the sizzling show
-- complete with a lesson in bananas and seduction.”

Me is...about two people finding themselves and each

not all writers can do that.”
